Warring States NPC’s

Commoners

Genichi, personal attendant of Ouchi Harushige- An idealistic young man with aspirations of becoming a samurai, Genichi wants to start a new life as a servant of the Mori. Genichi is honest, hardworking, and values his word. In keeping with samurai values, he holds honor more important than life. Genichi is generally soft-spoken and goes about his business quietly. His standout trait is an ability to find items and merchants quickly.

Zensuke, personal attendant of Kodama Gentaro Hidemoto - Zensuke is an older man, covered with scars and shifty eyed and watchful. According to Jotaro, he is greedy, bad-hearted, and jealous of others. Certainly he seems to have unkind words for most people. Zensuke worries about being disgraced by others, and works quite hard as long as someone can see him doing it. He appears to have experience with knives, and can both cook passably well and ride a horse.

Juzo, personal attendant of Rinzan - Juzo is a wirey old man with a mostly toothless smile and a battered biwa. He is amiable, well mannered, a quietly pious Buddhist who serves his master loyally above all. Despite his age, he seems no less able to carry heavy burdens. Juzo is also accomplished at packing and driving animal teams or wagons, making him doubly useful.

Jotaro, personal attendant of Mukai Saneaki- Jotaro is large, hairy, and unkempt, obviously quite strong, but not particularly bright looking. He is uncouth and boorish, and somewhat of a bully. Nevertheless he values his friends, as they are understandably few. Despite his personality flaws, he is a hard worker. Jotaro also possesses a complete set of carpentry tools.

Gozaemon, Innkeeper - Owner and proprietor of the "Nine Peaches", the only really good inn available in Hatsukaichi, a fishing town in Aki Province. Gozaemon and his family are always pleased to see Kanzel Akihiro and friends.

Leaders of the Mori and Allied Clans

Mori Takamoto, Daimyo of the Mori Clan - Ruler of Aki Province, the man the PC’s are sworn to obey and defend with their lives.

Mori Motonari, Elder of the Mori Clan - Father of Takamoto, former Daimyo of the Mori, and actual power behind the throne.

Kikkawa Motoharu, Daimyo of the Kikkawa Clan - Second son of Motonari, current Daimyo of the allied Kikkawa Clan.

Mori Sadahiro, Karo of the Mori Clan - Younger brother to Mori Motonari, leader of the Mori contingent in Yamaguchi, and the PC’s direct commander. Sadahiro is known for being industrious, organized, and devoted to the well-being of the Mori Clan. This makes him the perfect person to look after Mori interests at the Ouchi court without tying Motonari down. Sadahiro is stern in demeanour and slow to trust people. Those under his command must earn his trust before they will be charged with any important duties. Sadahiro is also unique in that he speaks and reads fluent Chinese, and deals directly with Chinese merchants and scholars on occasion.
